Come join us paint bowls to benefit Church World Services.
Come to the Color Clay Café on Thursday, February 25th or Friday February 26th at 6:30. Please be prompt so you can receive proper instructions.
The children and youth that come to the studio will paint beautifully-shaped bowls. Once the bowls are fired, they will be returned to the Fellowship. Families have the first chance to purchase their child’s bowl for $12.00, but they are not required to buy the bowls. Bowls that are not purchased will be available for purchase for $12.00 by other members of the Fellowship. For each bowl that is sold, the profit of $4.00 will go directly to Church World Services. Studio fee and professional assistance is donated by Color Clay Café. Artistic talent is donated by the children and youth! It costs nothing to participate and paint, only to purchase a finished bowl.
All children from Pre-K to the Senior High are invited to participate. Parents can also paint other items if they wish in the front studio of Color Clay Cafe. The prices of items range from $5 to $50 with a studio fee equal to half the cost of the piece, or a maximum of $9. If you plan on attending, let us know so that we can reserve a bowl for your child.
